Bavaria Broadcast Studio Franconia supports the winners of the Marimba Festiva Competitions since many years. The point of the cooperation is a recording in one of the best studios of Bavaria Broadcast. We are glad to offer this kind of promotion to our winners und for Ruri Kudo from Japan in the year 2022
„I’m very happy to have had such a wonderful time with Bayerischer Rundfunk in Nuremberg. It was a great experience to play with a different mindset than usual, because recording and live concerts are very different.
In a live concert you can communicate to the audience visually, but in a recording you can only connect with the audience aurally. Recording required more attention to clarity of all sounds and detailed articulation. It was a very fulfilling experience for me, as I was able to experience the difficulties and joys of pursuing music. Thank you everyone who supported me a lot!“

Am 5. Oktober 2021 fand in dem Konzertsaal des Wohnstifts am Tiergarten in Nürnberg das Preisträgerkonzert des Internationalen Marimba Festiva Wettbewerbs statt, das zur Freude  aller Beteiligten live erklingen konnte. Eingeladen waren drei Preisträger, die zugleich auch Sonderpreise erhalten haben. Diese sind: Gabor Mscisz aus der Altersgruppe bis 13 Jahre, der  den Yamaha Young Performer Preis erhielt, Luis Robles aus der AG 2 bis 18 Jahre und Yu Hagihara aus Japan (Studium in Detmold) aus der AG 4 bis 25 Jahre. Die letzten beiden Künstler erhielten zudem Marimba Festiva Sonderpreise. In dem ca. eine Stunde dauernden Konzert wurden überwiegend zeitgenössische  Werke von u.a. Anna Ignatowicz, E. Sejourne, J. Brunk und T. Golinski vorgetragen. Das Konzert wurde veranstaltet von Marimba Festiva e.V und gefördert vom Kulturreferat der Stadt Nürnberg und dem Tonkünstlerverband Mittelfranken e.V.
On October 5, 2021, the winners‘ concert of the International Marimba Festiva Competition took place in the concert hall of the Wohnstift am Tiergarten in Nuremberg, which was performed live to the delight of everyone involved. Three winners were invited, who also received special prizes. These are: Gabor Mscisz from the age group up to 13 years, who received the Yamaha Young Performer Prize, Luis Robles from the AG 2 to 18 years and Yu Hagihara from Japan (studying in Detmold) from the AG 4 to 25 years. The last two artists also received Marimba Festiva special prizes. In the concert, which lasted about an hour, mostly contemporary works by Anna Ignatowicz, E. Sejourne, J. Brunk and T. Golinski were performed. The concert was organized by Marimba Festiva e.V and supported by the Culture Department of the City of Nuremberg and the Tonkünstlerverband Mittelfranken e.V.
