Participants under the age of 16 need written agreement of their parent(s) or legal carers.

Travel expenses and lodging
The competitors will not be reimbursed.

Instruments
The list of instruments provided at the competition (Live Competition in Bamberg) will be announced in February 2025.

Order of the appearances
The order of the appearances (Live Competition) will be announced via mail one week before the competition.

Warm-up before the presence competition in Bamberg is 30 minutes.

Registration Fee for the Presence Competition in Bamberg includes entrance ticket for all concerts and clinics of the International Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition.

Duties of the participants
The participants are expected to participate in all performances and the final presentation ceremony. It is also expected for participants to participate in all audio and video recordings, as well as in reproductions and TV and radio broadcasts. Making unauthorized audio- and/or video recordings of the competition, of individual pieces, of concerts or of any other part of the event is prohibited.

Safety measures
The organizer is undertaking all necessary precautions to ensure the well-being and safety during the competition. Liability claims against the organizer concerning damages against persons or items during the competition, as well as while travelling to and from the competition are excluded. Participants acknowledge this by their registration.
