Entstehung und Motivation
Der 2012 gegründete Verein „Marimba Festiva“ hat sich als Ziel gesetzt, eine differenziertere Marimba-Spielkultur auf internationaler Ebene zu etablieren und das Instrument einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Infolgedessen entstanden zahlreiche nationale und internationale Projekte, die zu hoher Anerkennung – nicht zuletzt durch bekannte Marimba-KünstlerInnen weltweit – geführt haben. Im Fokus all unserer Veranstaltungen steht die Förderung von begeisterten JungmusikerInnen auf höchstem Niveau, die sich durch Klangorientierung und sensiblen Umgang mit dem von der Natur geschenkten Material „Palisander“ auszeichnet.
 
Zu den wichtigsten Projekten der letzten zwölf Jahre gehören: 
– Internationale Katarzyna Mycka Marimba Akademie IKMMA: 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025 
– Internationaler Marimba Festiva Kongress und Wettbewerb in Bamberg 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2024-25
– Marimba Seminare und Events in Nürnberg (2012 -2021)
– Marimba Meetings in Polen 2013, 2015, 2017, 2024
– Young Artist Programm für talentierte Nachwuchskünstler in Deutschland 2022-2025
 
Hinter all diesen Projekten stehen zahlreiche professionelle Künstler:innen sowie auch eine sehr große internationale Gemeinschaft, die sich immer wieder als Mentoren, Teilnehmer, Organisatoren oder auch Zuhörer engagiert und für die Weiterentwicklung der Idee einsetzt.
 
Nach den Erfahrungen der letzten 12 Jahre möchten wir nun die Konzeption weiterentwickeln und ein Festival mit dem Namen Internationales Marimba Festival „Resonanzen“ ins Leben rufen, in dem wir die Ergebnisse unserer Arbeit in Form von Konzerten der Extraklasse anbieten.

Origin and motivation
The „Marimba Festiva“ association, founded in 2012, has set itself the goal of establishing a more differentiated marimba playing culture at an international level and making the instrument accessible to a wider audience. As a result, numerous national and international projects have been created that have led to high recognition – not least from well-known marimba artists around the world. The focus of all our events is the promotion of enthusiastic young musicians at the highest level, who are characterized by sound orientation and sensitive handling of the „rosewood“ material given by nature.

The most important projects of the last twelve years include:
– International Katarzyna Mycka Marimba Academy IKMMA: 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025
– International Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition in Bamberg 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2024-25
– Marimba seminars and events in Nuremberg (2012 -2021)
– Marimba Meetings in Poland 2013, 2015, 2017, 2024
– Young Artist Program for talented young artists in Germany 2022-2025

Behind all of these projects are numerous professional artists as well as a very large international community that is always involved as mentors, participants, organizers or listeners and is committed to the further development of the idea.

Based on the experiences of the last 12 years, we would now like to further develop the concept and create a festival called the International Marimba Festival “Resonanzen”, in which we will offer the results of our work in the form of top-class concerts.
